Seven round Trans Am Series calendar confirmed for 2023
The popular Trans Am Series will expand to seven rounds in 2023 where it will contest events in four different states.
Emerging as a destination category for young drivers and a solid home for seasoned racers, the V8 muscle car class will be one to watch in 2023 as anticipation builds for the opening round of the SpeedSeries at AWC Race Tasmania on February 24-26.

After the category’s trip to the Apple Isle, a return to the fast, flowing Phillip Island follows on May 12-14, followed by the recently announced V8-themed event at Winton on June 9-11. The Winton event will see Trans Am contest a 100km final race, using the same concept adopted at Mount Panorama as the stakes rise with extra points on offer.
Night racing returns to Sydney Motorsport Park on June 23-25 where the Turtle Wax Trans Am Series will race under lights, with Queensland Raceway following three weeks later on August 11-13.
The historic Sandown International Raceway will again host the penultimate event of the season to be held on September 8-10 ahead of the big finale at Mount Panorama for the second edition of the Supercheap Auto Bathurst International.
All rounds will be broadcast live, ad-break free and on-demand via Stan Sport, while an improved free-to-air package on the Nine Network will bolster a comprehensive telecast.
