Supercheap Auto offers free entry for all Bathurst residents this weekend

Supercheap Auto and the Bathurst Regional Council have announced a special invitation to all Bathurst residents for the inaugural Supercheap Auto Bathurst International.

The naming-rights partner of the new event, long associated with the famous circuit, is offering free entry to all residents that live in the township.

In what is being called ‘Super Saturday and Super Sunday,’ residents with the postcode 2795 will be able to secure their free ticket at the Harris Park ticket box, simply by showing their driver’s license, rates notice or standard household bill.

The Supercheap Auto Bathurst International is the newest event on the Mount Panorama calendar, becoming the fifth event that is run at the famous circuit.

Supercheap Auto’s Sponsorship Manager Justin Murray says;

“We all love Bathurst. It is a special place, not just because of its great race track, but because of the way the town has embraced us all over the years,” said Murray.

“We’re going to make it a Super Saturday and Super Sunday for all of the people of Bathurst, and after seeing such a great response at the Circuit to City on Thursday, we thought we’d open the gates for the locals to come to the Supercheap Auto Bathurst International, free of charge, and enjoy a weekend of some great global motorsport and enjoy their amazing race track.”

Track action starts on both Saturday and Sunday at 7:20am, featuring racing and qualifying from all seven race categories.

For those unable to make it to Mount Panorama, Stan Sport is offering up a feast of motorsport action, with 16 hours of live and ad-break free coverage beaming into your lounge room.

Saturday’s coverage on Stan Sport starts at 11:30am to 6pm, while free-to-air viewers will be able to catch Saturday afternoon’s racing from 3-5pm on 9GEM.

Sunday’s Stan Sport broadcast starts at 8am. Sign up for a free 7-day trial here >> http://www.stan.com.au/motorsport
