Title contenders reveal new warpaint ahead of The Bend
Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS title contending team Liam Talbot and Fraser Ross will welcome new support from Shannons Insurance for the rest of the season starting at The Bend Motorsport this weekend.
Driving an Audi Sport Customer Racing Australia-prepared R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, Talbot is just 20-points off the series heading into the penultimate round of the sprint season, which will end on the streets of Adelaide in December. In between, a trip to the legendary Mount Panorama circuit is scheduled where the duo will contest the three-hour endurance event at the inaugural Supercheap Auto Bathurst International.

Shannons Insurance enjoys a rich history of involvement in Australian racing having been a supporter of the Motorsport Australia Championships since 2006, which this weekend’s round of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS at The Bend headlines.
Featuring a sharp green and white livery, the pairing also welcomes noted German lubricants brand LIQUI MOLY.
The Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS action begins on Friday with two 30-minute practice sessions at 10:20am (10:50am AEDT) and 2:05pm (2:35pm AEDT) before qualifying at 9:15am (9:45am AEDT) Saturday made up of two 20-minute components.
Two 60-minute races split across Saturday at 2:55pm (3:25pm AEDT) and Sunday at 11:45am (12:15pm AEDT) follow.
The racing this weekend will be streamed live on 7Plus.
